Eager to have a fun time with your new pet human? Then keep your eyes peeled for a shiny red dot on the walls , ceiling, and floors. Easily amused humans often carry around a stick that shines a beam of light, usually colored red, in any direction they point it. There are also blue and green laser pointers as well. Unlike white flashlights, the laser pointer is actually a toy for both humans and cats. Cats who enjoy playing with or amusing their pet humans should take advantage of this opportunity to make the human laugh. All you have to do is treat the red dot as though it were an insect or rodent, and chase it as it moves along the floor. This is the time to take advantage of the human’s good humor and do all of the things that normally would get you yelled at. Chase that laser pointer everywhere it goes, and be sure to scratch the carpet, climb the walls, and crash into delicate collectibles in the process. That’s all you have to do! Be careful, though. Don’t look directly at the source of the dot. This makes the human think you are smarter than you really are, and it also is dangerous because if the laser pointer manages to shine inside your eye it can cause blindness.
