PORTGORDON, Scotland - A cat named Jack Daniels is recovering from emergency surgery after suffering an attack by a vicious fish.
Jack is a fishing cat who enjoys bringing home for himself and his human, Leanne Carter. Trouble arose, however, when Jack Daniels ventured into dangerous waters and caught a fish that had the will to fight back. When Jack was discovered by his human, the fish had burrowed deep into Jack’s throat, latched on, and wouldn’t let go. It was a bloody battle, and the fish nearly won. Authorities say that the fish had to be surgically extracted in order to save the cat’s life. The fish is now facing charges of assault with the potential penalty of being “battered” and fried in a pot of hot oil! Let’s hope they throw the hook at him!
This should be a lesson to all cats: Make sure your food stops moving before you eat it!
