Do you hate grooming because brushes’ bristles are always too stiff, too sharp, or otherwise painful on your skin? Do they pull your hair and make you want to bite? You haven’t tried the Zoom Groom yet, have you?

Our humans brought home the Zoom Groom the other day, and all four of us are already in love. The large rubber bristles catch the hair very easily without irritating our skin. In fact, it feels like a nice back scratch. I particularly like to brush backwards and then forwards, that way the brush can get all that extra undercoat fur that can sometimes get trapped. I usually won’t let a human brush on my belly or my backside (human calls it my “runway”), because if the hair pulls, it hurts too much. The Zoom Groom is particularly gentle, so I’ve been tolerating belly brushes for the last couple of days.

The only drawback to this great device is that it can kind of scatter hair all over the place if your human isn’t quite sure what he’s doing. First he needs to collect a little fur from gentle brushing and then mash it in the middle of the brush, then start brushing again. All the fur will then collect within the bristles as long as he applies the brush evenly. It is easily cleaned out by gently lifting the fur off of the brush. No more fighting with brushes and using brushes to clean other brushes! Our human says that the brush is also very comfortable to use and it feels just like petting us.

One especially nice feature of the Zoom Groom is that you can turn it over and use its flat side to wipe fur off of human pants legs, mouse pads, couches, and other surfaces. This helps keep our environment clean and dust-free!

We give this brush four paws up because we will now tolerate human grooming up to four times longer! We also haven’t needed to cough up any nasty hairballs all week!
