NORTH POLE - The 2005 Santa Claws Report is in for this year, and the results are astonishing!

Traditionally, around December 24 of each year, Santa Claws tallies up a list of which cats have been naughty, and which cats have been nice. This list is then used for Santa Claws’s flight around the Earth on Christmas to deliver presents to everyone. Those kitties who have been nice will receive bountiful christmas gifts such as fish, treats, and toys, while those who were naughty will find a foul “gift” in their litterbox.

For 2005, Santa Claws has discovered that in a random sampling of 11,460,000 felines, approximately 79% were nice kitties and 21% were naughty cats.

Unsure of which list you are on? Well, there’s only a short time until you find out for yourself, but here are some clues:

Naughty cats are generally easy to point out. They never use their litter box, they are unfriendly to their housemates, they succumb too easily to the wills of others, they hurt kittens, and/or they are vegetarian. Nice cats, on the other hand, are able to balance independence with being fair with other cats, and do not become hostile in unnecessary situations. Just the same, they do not let anyone command them. Nice cats eat a healthy balanced diet that will include meats and fish if it is available.

If you’d like to regain some standing with Santa Claws at the last minute, we recommend leaving some treats and toys for him in a conspicuous location before you go to sleep on Christmas Eve. Santa Claws particularly likes dead mice or birds and dismembered insects. If you are looking to go the extra mile, one can of tuna, or a can of Pounce brand cat treats and a bowl of milk would be sure to do the trick.

Everyone at Catnabbit! would like to wish every cat, and their pets - human, canine, or otherwise - a wonderful holiday season!
